MOVIE OF THE MONTH

Come join us on Thursday, September 16th @ 7:30pm in Pedata Hall as we present another parishioner's pick,  a baseball double feature. First up is "Champions of Faith: Baseball Edition". An uplifting & moving sports special that tells the story of faith in baseball like no other film ever made. "Champions of Faith: Baseball" serves to humanize some of the most celebrated and accomplished ballplayers of our time and restore the "sports hero" to its proper place in American culture. "Champions of Faith: Baseball provides an emotionally powerful, action-packed glimpse into what makes a baseball player -and a human being-great.
The 2nd half of our double feature is "Champions of Faith: The Bases of Life". An inspiring look inside the personal lives of the most successful, most admired heroes of Major League Baseball. "Champions of Faith: The Bases of Life" provides a compelling and uniquely entertaining look at the power of prayer, the grace that flows from the Bible and the Sacraments, and the spiritual strength that is the result of a deeply personal relationship with God.
