For NYC born-and-bred teenager Tory Hedderman
(Barrett Carnahan), it feels like the end of the world when his family moves to
a sleepy West Virginia town. His frustration and apathy build until he’s caught
committing an act of vandalism against the memorial statue of a fallen soldier.
Sentenced to community service at a local veteran’s residential home, Tory
initially resents his situation. But as he bonds with wounded soldier Mitch
Kern (Michael Guy Allen), Tory begins to understand the profound meaning of
